- edited December 2012I had 50k per turn income before I declared Republic. I was playing Saga but I probably used pretty much the same tactics as you with Satsuma, since they start very close to each other. I conquered just enoug provinces so that I just needed 1 more to create the 'realm divide' scenario, and then I started building up my provinces. Once the provinces were fully built up, I had like 3 full armies and still 50k per turn left.
However once I declared republic that dropped dramatically of course due to me losing all my trading partners and getting bombarded. It's pretty tough at first when you declare independence. Also you should build the Republic units quickly after you declare, since you will lose all of your imperial or shogun units after you declare independence.
Another thing that I noticed is that having big cannon armies kicks ass. If you build your cannons/gatling guns in a province with a blacksmith + firing practice site, they will be incredible killing machines. Have 6-8 cannons and 3 gatling guns that have all been beefed up with your +accuracy province and you will obliterate most armies, especially if your general / agents beef up their accuracy/reload times as well.
And before you declare republic, make sure you have 3-4 powerful armies ready to defend the coming onslaught, so you don't start losing a bunch of provinces because you were ill prepared. Wait to conquer that last province until the right moment. - edited December 2012Jesus, how did you even get a 50k income? I had a 30k income max when i traded with most the the clans+masteries that gives bonus tax and reduced upkeep. I havent got the factory upgrade yet, is that how your income so big? And I dont use imperials troops when i plan to go indepence, mostly use black bears, sabres, and parrot guns so i dont lose anything. Do you know the exact number of province before R/D on long campagin btw?
- edited December 2012I had maxed out all of my provinces with money making buildings, and had all of the civil techs that made money. This was just before I initiated realm divide, it took me a while to build that up of course.
The female agents help as well, when they are in a city they raise the growth rate a bit. The trick is building up quickly the growth rate and then at turn 170 or so you'll have a lot of income from your provinces.
On top of that I was trading with all factions and had no wars. So as soon as I initiated realm divide my income dropped by a lot, since my trading agreements were garnering a good portion of it and I lost all of them by declaring republic. - edited December 2012
Probably a silly question but if you had no wars where did you get all your cities from? As soon as I invade somewhere all their buddies declare war on me as well, and even when I take them out one by one more just join in!On top of that I was trading with all factions and had no wars. You send an Ishin-Shishi or Shinsengumi to the town and order him to incite a revolt. This will be easier when he's stayed there for a while to convert the population. This might be helpful for those still playing S2 MP:

ok, I just tried this. They totally trashed the place! When my troops moved in there was a paltry 2500 to obtain by looting with -19 public order, and to take it over it said it was worth 0 with -11 public order - so I ended up making it a vassel state.. Not sure where I went wrong on that one?You send an Ishin-Shishi or Shinsengumi to the town and order him to incite a revolt. - Senior MemberPosts: 2,437Registered Usersok, I just tried this. Rebels destroy every building when taking a province, you will see much better public order after a turn when you have repaired them all. The castle for instance often gives you 6 or more repression in FotS (2nd level). Add to that a richi mahjong parlor and you suddenly get 9 public order just through repairing buildings. This might be helpful for those still playing S2 MP:

Mod DB is a website that focuses on general video game modding. It was founded in 2002 by Scott 'INtense!' Reismanis.[2] As of September 2015, the Mod DB site has received over 604 million views, has more than 12,500 modifications registered,[3] and has hosted more than 108 million downloads.[4] A spin-off website, Indie DB, was launched in 2010 and focuses on indie games and news.
- 3Mod of the Year
- 4IndieDB
Purpose[edit]
The purpose of Mod DB is to list the mods, files, tutorials and information of any games that are capable of being modded with user-made content. Community involvement is strongly encouraged, and any game mod with a website is allowed to post a screenshot gallery, news, and requests for help. Scott's intentions, from the beginning, were to get the community heavily involved in the creation and development of the website. To this end, the most active members were chosen as moderators and administrators. The core staff generally remain the same, while lower positions are heavily rotated among trainee moderators, and administrator candidates. The site's staff mostly act as chaperones or librarians, keeping appropriate content available to the public and featuring the more exceptional content.
History[edit]
Scott Reismanis stated in an interview, 'My first site was Gamerzoned, which became Gaminzone, then Chaosrealm and Modrealm'.[5] ModRealm was refactored and improved upon to include more developer tools. After months of additional development, it was rebranded as ModDB. Reismanis coded the site engine himself, which would cover all of the mod-related subjects. ModDB 1.0 debuted in June 2002. It quickly gained a group of core members who became the basis for the active community which the site has today. In 2004, the second version of the site was released, and many new features were implemented along with a complete site redesign. Version three followed in December 2005, once again redesigning the site's organisation and aesthetics.
If you only want to recover from Recycle Bin, just tick it on the bottom and go scanning.Step 3. Next, you can select the location where you want to recover data. Download FonePaw Data Recovery on your PCTo recover data from Recycle Bin on one partition, for example, from the C drive, you'd better install Data Recovery on another drive in case that the installation overwrites lost data on C drive.Step 2. Select File Types and Hard Disk DriveAfter launching it, you can choose the files types that you want to restore like image, video, audio, email, document, etc. Recycle bin windows 8 location.
On 6 October 2006, Addon DB another website by the Mod DB team opened up a public beta for registered members of Mod DB. Addon DB's aim is to list additional content for game not applicable under the category of game modifications. This includes models, skins and maps. Following the creation of Addon DB, Scott Reismanis founded DBolical Pty Ltd. (formally DesuraNET), which subsequently acquired ownership of both Addon DB and Mod DB.
In September 2007 Mod DB changed and was overhauled to bring it up to version 4. This included integrating Addon DB into Mod DB. There were major enhancements like the ability to register a game rather than a mod as well as a better private messaging system.
In 2010 DBolical Pty Ltd. launched the 'IndieDB' website dedicated to indie gaming.[6]
In 2011 Mod DB removed School Shooter: North American Tour 2012 after 'receiving quite a bit of threatening mail as people believe we are the creators, supporters and makers of this content.'[7]
Mod of the Year[edit]
Mod DB's Mod of the Year competition, the 'Golden Spanner' awards, aim to set the industry standard in awarding inventive and high-quality mods. Mods are chosen via a community vote and are then reviewed by staff to produce the final list of winners. The competition aims to encourage all fields of modding, with different categories such as graphics and gameplay, as well as a traditional 'best mod' winner.
